New Mexico prosecutors sued Jeffrey Epstein's former lawyer and accountant. The state claims they profited from and helped hide his sex trafficking crimes.

New Mexico state prosecutors filed a civil lawsuit against two former aides of Jeffrey Epstein. The legal action targets lawyer Darren Indyke and accountant Richard Kahn. Officials claim these men profited from Epstein’s sex trafficking operations.

Also, the lawsuit accuses both men of hiding abuse at Epstein’s Zorro Ranch. This property sits near Santa Fe. The state attorney general says they helped conceal criminal activities for years.

However, the two men currently manage Epstein's entire estate. They hold control over his remaining wealth and possessions. Indyke and Kahn strongly deny any involvement in these illegal acts.

Next, the state attorney general highlighted the importance of this case. He argues that survivors deserve compensation from Epstein's large fortune. He claims the aides are blocking these victims from receiving money.

After that, the lawsuit notes that Epstein’s estate holds roughly $635 million. The attorney general wants to stop the aides from profiting further. He believes they helped facilitate a horrific criminal enterprise.

Meanwhile, an attorney representing the men rejected the claims as false. He says they never knowingly assisted in any sexual abuse. He also noted that the prosecutor never contacted them before filing.

Then, the lawyer stated that his clients plan to fight these allegations in court. He insists they provided only standard legal and accounting services. He expects they will prevail against these new claims.

Furthermore, this case remains separate from an ongoing criminal investigation. New Mexico officials reopened that probe earlier this year. The state continues to seek justice for the survivors of these crimes.

Finally, the attorney general emphasized the need for accountability. He stated that Epstein did not work alone. He believes those who enabled the abuse must face consequences for their actions.
