The son of a Kenyan cult leader recently reported that his younger siblings were still being forced to fast by family members.

The eldest son of a convicted Kenyan cult leader recently spoke out. Dan Mackenzie claims his younger siblings faced forced starvation just two weeks ago. He reported the situation to local police to ensure their safety.

Also, authorities successfully rescued eight children from the grandmother's home. These children included Dan's five younger siblings. They now reside in a secure rescue center.

Next, the cult leader, Paul Mackenzie, recently received a murder conviction. A court found him guilty of killing 191 people. These victims starved to death inside the Shakahola forest.

Meanwhile, the cult leader previously ordered his followers to starve themselves. He claimed this act allowed them to meet Jesus. Twenty-eight other cult leaders also faced murder convictions in this case.

However, Dan Mackenzie initially struggled to accept the truth about his father. He later realized the horrific scale of the crimes during court proceedings. He even endured forced fasting himself as a young child.

After that, Dan explained his difficult choice to report his own grandmother. She still followed the dangerous teachings of his father. He felt this action was necessary to protect his younger brothers and sisters.

Now, Dan works as a motorcycle taxi driver in the town of Malindi. He supports himself and his siblings while distancing himself from his father's actions. Some locals show him kindness, while others remain angry at his family.

Furthermore, the court heard how the cult forbade education and modern medicine. Dan left school at age seven due to these strict rules. Followers viewed the leader as a divine mouthpiece for Jesus.
