Israeli forces have ended a ten-day siege in Hebron. Local authorities are now helping displaced families return to their homes.

Israeli military units recently left the city of Hebron. This move followed a long ten-day siege in the West Bank.

Also, Governor Khaled Dudin confirmed the withdrawal on Monday. He stated that Palestinian security forces now control the area.

Next, local families who left their homes may finally return. Authorities are working to ensure that these people return safely.

Meanwhile, the military siege began back on October 23. This action followed a shooting attack by two Palestinian individuals.

That specific attack killed two Israeli soldiers. It also left three other soldiers injured during the violent incident.

After that, Israeli forces killed the two attackers. They then placed strict closures on Hebron and many nearby villages.

During this period, soldiers took over several Palestinian homes. They turned these private buildings into temporary military posts.

However, the operation caused significant harm to the local population. It led to forced displacement and widespread property damage.

As a result, officials report that 15 homes and structures were destroyed. These include both residential and commercial properties.

Furthermore, more than 3,300 Palestinians faced displacement or other issues. The damage was severe in areas like Al-Jalda.

Still, the impact went beyond housing and basic shelter. The operation also damaged local infrastructure and hurt the economy.

Finally, the city faced major disruptions to daily life. This included significant problems for schools and local education systems.
