Israeli drone strikes across Gaza resulted in eight deaths on Sunday, including a young child and several police officers.

Recent Israeli military operations across Gaza left at least eight Palestinians dead on Sunday. Hospital officials confirmed these casualties to news reporters.

Also, an Israeli drone strike hit the al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis. This attack killed five individuals and injured several other people.

Meanwhile, Gaza's Ministry of Interior stated that the strike hit police officers. These officers performed their assigned duties during the attack.

However, the Israeli army claims they targeted a terrorist in that area. Reporters on the ground observed the aftermath of this specific strike.

Next, another drone strike occurred in the Rimal neighborhood of Gaza City. This attack killed at least three people in the northern region.

Among those killed in the Rimal attack was a four-year-old child. The strike also hit the local Taj Mall facility.

After that, medical staff at al-Shifa Hospital confirmed the deaths from these northern strikes. One additional person died on Sunday from earlier injuries.

Furthermore, Israel continues these military actions throughout the Gaza region. These strikes persist despite a ceasefire agreement brokered by the United States.

As a result, more than 1,500 people died since that ceasefire began last October. The total death toll continues to climb rapidly today.

Finally, the Gaza Ministry of Health reports a massive loss of life. At least 74,594 Palestinians have died since the war began in 2023.

This conflict started following an attack led by Hamas in southern Israel. The fighting remains intense across the entire Gaza territory.
