Flávio Bolsonaro fled to the United States after losing the Brazilian election. He claims to be the country's leader while alleging voter fraud.

Flávio Bolsonaro traveled to Florida this past Wednesday. He recently lost the Brazilian presidential race against his rival, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. Lula won by a margin of 4.4 million votes.

However, Bolsonaro refuses to accept the final results. He shared a letter on social media calling himself the leader of Brazil. He claims, without proof, that the election involved fraud.

Meanwhile, Bolsonaro left his country on Tuesday. He ignored a court order to surrender his passports. Lula called this decision a shameful act by the former candidate.

Next, Bolsonaro posted a letter on the social platform X. A first version of this post called him the rightful president. He deleted that version and replaced it with a new one.

Then, the letter repeated claims about unfair polling hours. Bolsonaro insists that these extra hours helped his opponent win. He calls the entire event a clear case of fraud.

After that, officials clarified the situation. Both campaigns actually requested the extra time. Brazil's election authority confirmed the voting process followed all national laws.

Also, data experts analyzed the election numbers. They found that only 34,000 people voted during the extra time. This number is far too small to change the election outcome.

Later, reports confirmed how Bolsonaro left the country. He crossed the border into Argentina first. From there, he flew to Florida with a stop in Ecuador.

Still, police wanted his passports for a money laundering investigation. Bolsonaro denies any wrongdoing. He claims the court is conducting a politically motivated witch hunt against him.

Finally, he stated that he has not abandoned his people. He plans to lead the opposition from the United States. His party members say no evidence supports his fraud claims.
